This evening was the first time that have bought some food from On Bong for years. My friends warned me that they have been over charged and there are many reviews saying the same thing I thought I would see for myself. The food was good however like many others I was overcharged. It should have totalled to 44.80 but I was charged 49.80. This is quite an over charge and I will not be going back again. Make sure you check the total before you pay.
Nice fresh food, well cooked but needs a bit more seasoning.
Avoid like the plague Asked for a duck curry,told they do not do it but would make it special for meWhen my order was ready was told it was 10, I protested this was 4 more expensive than there other duck dishes,and was told duck was expensive, absolute rip offCouldn't be bothered arguing with this very rude lady so took my meal and left The curry itself was a joke ,tasted nothing like curry, just watery sauce full of mushrooms and carrots???,and a few bits of rubbery duck skin,absolutely disgusting!!!I am a visitor to crediton and if this is as good as Chinese food gets then you really are being ripped off !!!
Good food but the worst customer service you'll ever find, to the point where a trip to the On Bong is worth it just for the entertainment. Managed to avoid being on the wrong side of the lady for a long time until recently when I dared suggest that the phrase 'includes boiled rice' meant that I should get rice with my curry. She blew her stack, yelled at me for five minutes and kicked me out (with no rice). I'll probably go back.
Lovely food and very friendly service, ready exactly on time. Just be aware they dont take cards, so bring cash.
